My first posting

OK, I said I was going to do it and now I have. I set up my first blog. This is my first posting. I want this blog to be a way for anyone to "ask mom" for advice. I am glad to share the wisdom that I have gained after raising two children and living for almost 51 years. My birthday is this week, so I am feeling wise and important. Some people start to feel just plain old when a birthday rolls around, but I am glad to be alive for the event and consider it another year of learning that I am ready to share.

A lot of cultures value "elders" and seek advice from them. I have learned a lot from many people. Some were older and some were younger. I am ready to share with you!
