These are the words

I ran across a great article that is well written and explains network marketing or at least the prospecting part of network marketing. I can't say it better, so just read it here.

Some short excerpts:
"Now, picture yourself approaching your prospect who sees the world through this firmly rooted paradigm. You're enthusiastically talking of early retirement, financial freedom and living a life of choice.

And what is your prospect hearing...?

Pie-in-the-sky lies. False promises. Fairy tales."

"Whatever your concerns may be, unless your focus is on something greater than your own anxiety, you face being ineffective and even immobilized by your fears. So what's the solution?

Simple really. Create a compelling enough reason to act that outweighs your fears. When your why or reason for being involved in network marketing is strong enough, your fears will pale in comparison"

The concept of creating a vision is a concept that works for anything in life, not just network marketing. I used to sew a lot. I always had a terrific vision of what the garment would look like, feel like, and even what compliments I would receive when I was wearing it. It worked. I play golf. A lot. I always have a vision of a long, straight drive. And I usually do have a long, straight drive. I am going to create a vision of "sinking putts." I am going to do that now. I am looking forward to better scores!

What vision will you create today?
